Opal is a modern suite of cloud-based tools and templates built to help organizations better create and manage documents across the enterprise.
We created Opal to offer employees across the organization—from regulatory affairs to operations to IT to front office—a modern, easy-to-use application to mass produce, automate and manage documents. Opal’s powerful API enables organizations to easily integrate Opal into their pre-existing applications and workflows, creating a seamless and significantly expedited process.
Opal is built with modern technology, created to manage standard Microsoft Word documents, and can be hosted in the cloud or on-premise.

Opal Use cases
The Opal suite of products can be applied to a number of redocumentation and BAU use cases. Opal components can be used in combination as accelerators for repapering exercises such as Brexit and Initial Margin.
They can also be combined to support BAU operational processes such as trade confirmations and client onboarding.
Opal’s enterprise-ready framework provides solutions for challenges of varying complexity. The Opal: Template Author is easily deployed and includes role-based access control, while the API allows for the automation of bulk documentation creation using an open document model.
